There is something so tranquil about buildings beside the water. The reflections, the vista, everything seems to move that little bit slower. In a fast, fast world, we could all do with a bit of slowing down.

These 'Water Bungalows' by Studio Dror were envisaged as the play houses of the very rich. Located 12 miles off the coast of Abu Dabai on Nurai Island the project is still classified as under construction. I'm not sure if we still live in a world that can justify this kind of luxury but there will always be those willing to pay top dollar for what they want. And it just looks so idyllic.
