...make your own lip balm. I really like this idea, probably because I am always losing lip balms, always. You get the raw ingredients; Shea butter, coconut oil, bees wax and 30 minutes later you're done. This video (below)  shows how to make hard lotion bars and soaps but I'm in it for the balm. 

There's a whole host of diy recipes out there I picked this one as its from a professional seller.

Go... the Science Gallery in Dublin. They have this fantastic new exhibition called Edible The Taste of things to come. It covers the science, the ethics and the art of food. Its curated by Cat Kramer and Zack Denfield who run the Centre for Genomic Gastronomy.

Twice daily there are feeding times (selling out really fast by the way). You can book in for a dining experience (€40). There is even a giant inflatable stomach.

 and just in case you're still not convinced its free. I do so love that word.


...the Dublin Jamesons film festival. There are far too many films to choose from. Which I count to be a good thing. So find a partner, grab some popcorn and pick a film.
