Up, up and Away

Prepare to be wowed.

National Geographic have created a real life version of the house floating away, from the Pixar animated film; Up. Yup you heard me, (and as an aside how much did that film make you blub? - not me of course)

The team of scientists, balloon experts and the National Geographic Channel managed to get a light weight house 10,000ft in the air AND managed to get it to stay there for over an hour. This was all in aid of proven fiction to be reality for a new US show 'How hard can it be' due to premier later this year.

Heres a youtube video of some of the process of how it got done.

I guess now my only question is, How did they get it down again?
