While I was in London at the weekend I managed to squeeze in a wander through the V&A shop (which I could happily spend hours in) while waiting for my turn at the Grace Kelly exhibition (very good but very very popular - I waited nearly 5 hours). And this in particular tickled my fancy.

The jewellery gives new life to old ceramic dinner wear. I love the idea of having an antique dinner set, maybe passed down from your grandmother that is broken, perhaps beyond repair. But here with Hackenberg's project it is passed down to another generation.
The ordinary objects of our everyday lives turned into jewels.
